Royal Enfield Bear 650: Colours Explained

The all-new Royal Enfield Bear 650 is the latest bike in the brand’s portfolio. While Royal Enfield hasn’t revealed any details on the pricing, the specifications and other details are already out.

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 features a typical scrambler design, which is based on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. It comes with a braced handlebar, a single-piece quilted seat, an inverted fork, a short rear fender and block-pattern tyres. It also has a different exhaust. The 650cc Scrambler is available in a total of 5 colour options: Petrol Green, Boardwalk White, Wild Honey, Golden Shadow and the Two Four Nine special edition. Here’s a detailed analysis of all the colour schemes:

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Petrol Green Colour

The Royal Enfield Bear 650’s Petrol Green colour comes with a dual-tone dark green and red paint scheme. The fuel tank has a vertical red stripe in the middle along with red graphics on the bottom of the tank and has a simple Royal Enfield text logo in white, written in a single line. The side panels also have a dark green base colour with red graphics at the bottom and also have an ‘Interceptor Bear 650’ decal. The inverted fork on this variant is black and the spoked rims have red stripes as well.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Boardwalk White Colour

The Boardwalk White Bear 650 has a white base colour. The fuel tank features orange, dark blue and sky blue graphics. The black Royal Enfield brand logo on the tank is a 2D text, with Royal written on top and Enfield written on the bottom. The side panels have orange graphics at the bottom and Interceptor Bear 650 decals in light blue and dark blue colours. The bike has a blue-coloured quilted seat which enhances its overall look. Its rims have orange stripes.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Boardwalk Wild Honey Colour

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 Boardwalk Wild Honey has a dual-tone white and yellow fuel tank with a huge dark blue ‘H decal’ on the side. While we also get to see a Royal Enfield text logo on the tank, there is also ‘½’ written on top of this ‘H decal’. The side panel and rear fender are also yellow. Additionally, the circular side panel has Blue graphics and ‘Interceptor Bear 650’ badging like on all the colourways. The seat on this variant too is blue in colour. The spoke wheels have white rim stickers.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Golden Shadow Colour

The Bear 650 Golden Shadow paint scheme has a dual-tone coloured fuel tank, which is light grey on one half and black on the other half, with a wide white stripe in the middle. It also has a white and golden Royal Enfield emblem on the tank with ‘Royal Enfield’ text written in red colour. The circular side panels are black in colour and they have ‘Interceptor Bear 650’ written on it. The inverted fork, on this one, has a gold finish. It has black spoked rims. While all the colours look amazing, this one is my personal favourite.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Two Four Nine Special Edition

The Two Four Nine is a special edition paint scheme of the Bear 650. It is a tribute to the youngest champion at the California Big Bear Run, Eddie Mulder. The colour name is based on Eddie’s competition number and the side panels also feature his competition number ‘249’.

The Two Four Nine colour comes with a beige base colour and has a chequered flag livery on the tanks and side panels. The tank features a 2D ‘Royal Enfield’ badging and the side panel has ‘Interceptor Bear 650’ written on it. This colourway comes with a greyish-blue seat and an elegant cyan-coloured frame.

The Bear 650 is a Scrambler which is based on the Interceptor 650 and gets the same 648cc, air & oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine with a few mechanical tweaks. The engine on Bear 650 makes 47.4PS at 7,150rpm and 56.5Nm at 5,150rpm, 8 percent more torque than before for better performance while off-roading.
