This time the spy shots reveal quite a few new details
A very interesting looking faired version of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 was spied again recently. We already know that Royal Enfield is working on launching a faired variant of the GT 650; and this time around, we could see quite a few new changes in the spied bike.
The test mule sports a big Monza fairing up front but it extends further down to just above the engine crankcase. It is big and bulky and goes quite well with the cafe racer look. The clip-on handlebars have been repositioned to accommodate the new fairing which should translate to a slightly more committed riding posture. The lower part of the fairing also houses the indicators.

Secondly, the engine casing on the test mule looks much more compact and integrated into the frame as compared to the existing model, possibly to ensure it looks coherent with the new fairing. Even the exhaust setup is slightly revised.
The engine is likely to be the same 648cc, air-oil-cooled, twin-cylinder mill making the same output figures. While the telescopic fork and dual gas-charged shock absorber setup looks the same as before, we believe the upcoming model could come with preload and rebound-adjustable twin rear shocks.
Expect Royal Enfield to debut the faired Continental GT 650 later this year during the Continental GT Cup.
