The upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been spied once again ahead of its launch on July 17, 2024. The latest spy shot has revealed a lot of new information about the bike.

The major update we’ve received from these spy shots is that the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be available in two variants. The premium variant will get the round, TFT instrument console with Google Maps navigation from the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The more affordable variant will come equipped with the semi-digital instrument console from the Super Meteor 650 consisting of an analogue speedometer and a digital inset that shows fuel gauge, tripmeter, odometer, clock, gear position indicator and Eco prompt readouts. The tripper navigation pod is available as standard in the Super Meteor 650 but we’ll have to wait and see if that’ll be the case with the affordable variant of the Guerrilla 450.

Adding to the TFT console, the premium variant is likely to get two ride modes – Performance and Eco, same as the Himalayan 450. That said, the cheaper variant is unlikely to feature ride modes, just to differentiate the two variants better.

Also, the top-end variant will get gorgeous dual-tone colour options. The one seen in the spy shot is painted in a gold and red paint job with the front fender painted in red and the rear fender and the side panel painted in gold.  The front-end of the tank is painted in red while the rear-end is painted in gold, with both colours meeting at the offset fuel cap. The Guerrilla 450 logo is on the side panel. The more affordable variant will get single-tone colour options with the one in the spy shots being painted in a grey colour.

Other than these observations, the rest of the details are already known to us. The rounded tank design along with the headlight design and fork covers look similar to that of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. The tail section of the bike along with the integrated tail light and turn indicators and the exhaust design looks similar to the Himalayan 450. The roadster will be powered by the Himalayan 450’s 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40.02PS and 40Nm.

The suspension setup on the Guerrilla 450 consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It gets 17-inch wheels at both ends with Ceat Gripp XL tyres. The roadster’s introductory price is expected to start somewhere between the Rs 2.20 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.
