It’ll get a colour scheme called the “Kamet White”
Images of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 have been officially released by the manufacturer recently and now we’ve gotten to know about the bike’s kerb weight along with details about the colors.
Yesterday, the manufacturer released a reel and upon scrutinizing the registration number displayed on one of the bikes, we've determined that the forthcoming Himalayan 452 will have a kerb weight of 196kg. This figure positions the upcoming bike as 3kg lighter than the Himalayan 411, although it is still a heavy bike at that weight.
Previously, a leaked homologation document had revealed the bike's specifications, leading us to estimate a kerb weight of around 210kg. However, the confirmed data contradicts this. Also powering it will be a 451.65cc liquid-cooled engine generating a 40PS at 8,000rpm. This notable increase of 16PS in power coupled with the 3kg reduction in kerb weight promises enhanced off-road maneuverability for the Himalayan 452 compared to its predecessor.
In terms of aesthetics, the striking white paint scheme showcased in the images and the teaser video has been officially named "Kamet White." On the features front, it will come equipped with a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and integrated navigation.
The launch date for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is November 7th and its rivals will be the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Hero Xpulse 400.
