Royal Enfield 'Himalayan' Adventure bike in pipeline?

The Indian motorcycle manufacturer- Royal Enfield seems planning something big with its new chief designer- Pierre Terblanche. The company has applied to trademark "Himalayan" at the Europe’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). It has been rumored that the company is working on a new adventure bike with an engine displacing between 300-400cc.

Royal Enfields sales some of the most popular bikes in India, which are best known for touring. However, any of the model in the current product line-up is not compatible for adventure touring. Some of the customer get this job done by some after market customizers, and very less of them get satisfied with that. Now, the company might have understood that the retro styled motorcycles are not enough to attract the young generation and they have to introduce something new, which can gel with their new trends. So, what can be better than an adventure ride compatible version of your favorite touring motorcycle.
