Royal Enfield Himalayan is one of the most anticipated bikes of this year. Recently, the bike was spotted testing in Chennai which foretells that the company may launch it sometime soon. This 410cc machine has already created a lot of buzz amongst the bike enthusiasts. Earlier, we reported that the production of the bike has been started in its Chennai facility.
The bike features twin cradle frame, which is engineered in U.K by Chassis specialist Harris Performance. It is equipped with newly developed 410cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is expected to produce 28 PS of power and 32Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

The two variants of the bike have already been spotted - one with a regular front fork and Scrambler body style and the other with raised suspension and off-roader looks. If priced well, this 410cc off-road machine can bring a massive change in Indian two-wheeler industry. The Royal Enfield Himalayan is all set to become the country’s most affordable adventure tourer.
