The spy shots confirm the semi-digital instrument console design
[UPDATE: Royal Enfield has launched the Hunter 350. Full details in our launch story]
Just days before the launch of the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350, new spy shots of the upcoming retro roadster have surfaced on the internet. The details of the variants were leaked this week, and going by that, the spy pics seem to be of the top-of-the-line Rebel variant.
The new spy shots confirm that the retro roadster will get the same Meteor 350-derived single pod instrument console. This motorcycle sported a dual-tone paint job with blacked-out components all around.
Leaked type-approval documents have already revealed that the RE Hunter 350 will be Royal Enfield’s lightest motorcycle yet. It is also the most compact one amongst its siblings.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be the third bike based on the J platform and will get the same 349cc single-cylinder engine, from the Meteor and the Classic 350, producing 20.6PS. This new motorcycle carries a typical British roadster design with a round halogen headlight, teardrop shaped tank and circular tail light.
Royal Enfield is expected to price the Hunter 350 at around Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Once launched, it will compete with the Jawa 42 2.1 and the upcoming Honda motorcycle.
