This Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 gets a pre-war vintage look
Rajputana Customs, a Jaipur-based custom motorcycle builder, has transformed the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 into a bobber. The end goal of this modification was to give the motorcycle a pre-war vintage look.
Talking about the changes, the fascia of the bike gets a vintage-style circular headlight, while the front brake lever and cable get a golden finish.
Moving to the side, you'll see that the rounded fuel tank has been replaced by a tear-drop-shaped unit, the rear fender has been chopped, it still carries dual-exhaust pipes, the standard seat has been replaced by a single unit, and the bike has been given a moss green, gold and silver colour scheme.

Other notable modifications include a rigid frame, a springer fork replacing the 41mm telescopic fork unit, dual springs below the seat, eliminating the dual piggyback shock absorbers, and two new tanks that merge almost seamlessly with the rider's seat and increase fuel supply via an additional pump.
The equipment that has been retained includes the 648cc parallel-twin engine, 320/240mm disc brake setup with Bybre brake calipers, the steering head, frame loops, a piece of the top tube, and the 18-inch spoke wheels. However, the Pirelli Phantom SportComp tyres have been replaced by balloon tyres.
For reference, the price of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 starts at Rs 2,58,970 (Ventura) and goes up to Rs 3,10,001 (Mark 2). All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
