Royal Enfield To Bring In Limited Edition Helmets

The hand painted helmets are limited to 200 units each

• The helmets are available in half and full face configurations. 
• Both are offered in gloss black with gold pinstripes. 
• The Madras pinstripes are hand painted similar to the way it’s done on RE Bullets.

Royal Enfield has launched two limited edition motorcycle helmets which feature the famous hand painted Madras pinstripes. Limited to 200 units each, the helmets offer homage to the century old tradition of hand painting a unique pinstripe onto Royal Enfield motorcycles. Both helmets are offered through the Royal Enfield website. 

Available in half and full face configurations, the helmets come in gloss black with gold pinstripes similar to the one seen on the Royal Enfield Bullet. Royal Enfield still practices the century old tradition of hand painting pinstripes onto Bullet fuel tanks. Specially trained artisans at the Royal Enfield Chennai factory hand paint a unique thick and thin pinstripe pattern called the Madras pinstripe onto motorcycles. 

Like the motorcycles, the pinstripes are painstakingly hand painted onto the helmet. Royal Enfield has not revealed prices for the helmets. Like other Royal Enfield helmets, both helmets have a Polystyrene and EPS liner and meet the prescribed ISI safety standards. Given its limited edition nature and hand painting process, we expected the helmets to carry a premium over most expensive stock RE helmets. Watch this space for more details.
