Royal Enfield is now offering Road Side Assistance with its new motorcycles in India, and owners of motorcycles up to 5 years old can also buy it.
In a bid to improve the ownership experience of its motorcycles Royal Enfield has announced that it will provide Road Side Assistance (RSA) service in India for its existing and new customers. The company is giving this service free for the first year with its new motorcycles and one can extend that after a year by paying the premium amount. Existing customers of the company can opt for the RSA programme by paying Rs. 800 for 1 to 3 years old bikes, while Rs 1,000 will be charged for 3 to 5 year old bikes. Apparently, the service is not available for the motorcycles which are more than 5 years old.
Royal Enfield is one of the most enthusiastic motorcycle manufacturers in India and is the most preferred motorcycle brand for touring. With respect to this fact, it seems a great initiative from the company, especially for one who likes to travel to remote locations. The RSA programme includes every kind of mechanical and electrical breakdowns and a technician will be sent to your location to fix your motorcycle. The company will also give you towing service to the nearest RE service station for free in the case of a mishap when your motorcycle is not in a movable condition. However, a towing fee will be charged if the distance between you and the service station is more than 100kms.
The RSA service from Royal Enfield will also help in unexpected situations like battery drainage and low fuel and tyre punctures which can occur anywhere, anytime. You can get more information about this programme from RE dealerships and existing customers can also enquire on the toll-free number 1800-2100-007 for further details on the same.
