Royal Enfield organised a 200km ride in Jaipur on the occasion of Republic day. The morning ride kick started from their Brand Store at Ajmer Road and the riders headed to Abhaneri, which is located 95km from the Pink City. The village of Abhaneri is situated in Dausa district of Rajasthan and is famous for its Chand Baori, a step well and Harshit Mata Temple.
The ride was initiated at 8 in the morning and the Royal Enfield owners gathered up at the company’s brand store located at Gitanjali towers. The riders on their thumping machines thundered down to the streets of Jaipur and made their way to the Agra Road. The group followed a single line formation and the ride was led by their senior rider - Raees Khan. The objective was to ride safe and celebrate the spirit of patriotism on the day. The group made their stop at Chand Baori in Abhaneri and took a 30-minute break to interact with each other and enjoy the serenity of the place. The ride started again and with another halt at the highway for lunch, the group rode back to the city.
On the occasion, Mr Pankaj Vishnoi, Regional Ride Coordinator (RRC), Royal Enfield told BikeDekho, “We regularly organise such rides and the main aim is to encourage riding with safety. Besides regular weekend and special occasion rides, we also organise reunions and rides to other countries like the Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal, Tour of Bhutan, etc. We wish to get more riders involved in this and the company regularly takes measures for this in this direction.”
