The upcoming bike will be launched in less than a month’s time
Royal Enfield has officially revealed the highly anticipated Himalayan 452 and has confirmed that the ADV will be launched on November 7, 2023.
The most noticeable changes include a sleeker and larger fuel tank, a redesigned fender, and a split-seat configuration. These changes give the Himalayan 452 a sleeker look than the Himalayan 411. Additionally, the inclusion of a USD (Upside-Down) fork with a fork cover and imposing 21-inch spoke wheels enhances the bike's overall presence and stability.
Powering the Himalayan 452 will be a 451.65cc, liquid-cooled engine and will produce 40PS at 8,000rpm. It will feature a wheelbase of 1,510mm and a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 394kg, translating to an estimated kerb weight of around 210kg, as per recently leaked homologation documents.
Features-wise, this ADV bike will get aTFT instrument console, likely featuring navigation, possibly with turn-by-turn directions. Furthermore, it will offer switchable ABS.
Anticipated to be priced around Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom), the Himalayan 452’s rivals will be the KTM 390 Adventure (spoke wheel variant) and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
