The ‘scramblerised’ Himalayan is expected to be lighter, peppier, and a bit more affordable than the ADV

We have been waiting with bated breath for the arrival of the Royal Enfield Scram 411. The launch is expected to take place in the coming few weeks, and the bike's arrival at certain dealerships across the country just reaffirms that.
Yes, a few units of the bike have been spotted just recently, and we are intrigued.

Up until now, we had seen the Scram running similar liveries as the current Himalayan. However, the new images showcase a more retro adventure approach, befitting the scrambler genre. The black-red combine (with the horizontal yellow stripe) is identical to the Interceptor 650's Sunset Strip paint option. But the one that got us more excited is the uber-cool white-red option with blue accents, giving the bike a retro adventure vibe of the 90s.
In essence, the Scram 411 is just a Himalayan with a smaller 19-inch front wheel, less fancy features and, now, thanks to these images, funkier colour shades. It will be powered by the same 410 LS motor as the Himalayan with no changes expected to the engine tune (24.3PS and 32Nm). However, since the Scram misses on bits like the tank brace, it should be a bit lighter than the Himalayan, and therefore, quicker.
Royal Enfield will be looking to price the Scram at around Rs 2 lakh, undercutting its adventure offering by Rs 15,000. We believe the launch will take place in early March. So, stay tuned for more updates.
