The bike appears to be production-ready, hinting at an imminent launch
The Royal Enfield Scram has been spotted testing again sans camouflage. The test mule appears to be production-ready and the differences from the Himalayan are even more evident this time around.
The RE Scram gets a new headlight mount, no windscreen, a smaller 19-inch wheel and a single-piece tubular grab rail. While the 411cc motor is expected to see no changes, the Scram could be livelier than the Himalayan thanks to its lower kerb weight.

Even the suspension setup, braking hardware and frame will see no alterations. However, its ground clearance seems to have taken a hit.
With an expected asking price of Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the Scram will be about Rs 15,000 more affordable than the Royal Enfield Himalayan. So, potential Himalayan buyers get a more budget-friendly alternative with just a bit less off-road capability.
