Royal Enfield Tour of Rann of Kutch from 12th March

Keeping in line with the tradition of promoting leisure and adventure motorcycling culture across the country, Royal Enfield brings the Tour of Rann of Kutch 2011, a ’trip’ of adventure riding across salt flats, deserts and treacherous landscapes of the Rann. The adventure run begins from 12th march 2011 and goes on till 19th march 2011. It is to be recalled that the company had launched two news bikes in India including Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 cc and Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 cc.

There are many places one can in India to have a memorable motorcycle ride, but the Rann of Kutch provides something more. If a ride to the Himalayas is a more moving, spiritual experience, then riding in the Rann of Kutch with a small group of riders, traversing sparsely populated salt flats is a real adventure. Among other things on this ride you shall rediscover the numerous constellations lost from the view and memory of many in the urban smog; marvel at the wonders of a 4000 year old Harappan civilization site at Dholavira; shoot the wild ass of the Rann, with your camera of course, and stay at serene  countryside resorts. This ride will definitely be etched in your memory for years to come.

It is to be noted that Royal Enfield is planning to launch 750cc and 1000cc bikes in India along with multi-fuel bikes.
