Making it look totally different from the stock Pulsar NS 200, an Indonesian modified a Pulsar into a decorous Scrambler. Bajaj provides a variety of Pulsar’s in India and other Asian countries, that includes both naked and the muscular. NS in the Pulsar series is the acronym for ‘Naked Sport’. To fit the retro look in the machine, the modifier has done a chrome coating with a classic round headlamp and the changed fuel tank gives it the look of the Royal Enfield Continental GT’s tank.

With completely removed bikini fairing, the term ‘Naked Sport’ is fetched from this newly modified machine. The ‘single piece seating’ of this bike gives it a dignified look of a Scrambler. The modified Pulsar is equipped with the same stock speedometer, front forks, rear mono shock and both the disc brakes. Also, this new machine gets the same 4 - Stroke, SOHC - 4V - Liquid Cooled, Single-Cylinder 199.5cc engine of NS 200 that produces a maximum power of 23.19 bhp @ 9500 rpm and a peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 rpm.

Along with these features that remain unchanged, the modified Pulsar got few modifications such as the underbelly exhaust is replaced with a new free flowing unit, a bigger rear wheel, single seat and the fuel tank. The modifier has been successful in converting the NS 200 into a Scrambler, but few more engine and spare mods could have given it the capacity that a Scambler is known for. However, the company has discontinued the machine to bring its AS 200 in the market, but the machine is expected to make its way back in the two-wheeler space after few months.
