Shamim Khan won the 2015 Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally for Mahindra

Four-time Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally winner- Shamim Khan has won the 2015 season for Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL). Shamim achieved the title riding a Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 in the championship, held at Navi Mumbai on August 8th and 9th, 2015. This is the second victory of MTWL in the Gulf Monsoon Scooter rally.

Speaking on his victory, Shamim Khan said, “I am delighted to have participated in the tough Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally with the Mahindra Rodeo Uzo 125. The Rodeo Uzo 125 offers a power packed performance, great ride quality and amazing control even on a rain soaked dirt track. The Mahindra Rodeo Uzo 125, true to its description, has complemented my riding skills very well.”

National Champion, Shamim Khan started his career in the year 2000. He is originally from Nashik and has been dominating rallies across India for almost five years now. He has previously won the Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally in 2003, 2004 and 2010.

The Monsoon Scooter Rally is a popular event organised by Sportscraft for the 26th straight year. The rally has gained enormous popularity over the years and attracts participants from Mumbai and neighbouring areas.
