Special Edition Suzuki GSX-S1000 and S1000F Revealed

The Japanese automaker, Suzuki has released the special edition versions of its highly appreciated sports bike - the GSX-S1000 and S1000F. Both the bikes have received entrain of Yoshimura elements, company’s original parts and new graphics.
These motorcycles can be called as Yoshimura editions, as both the bikes feature Yoshimura R11 exhaust, Yoshimura steering stem nut, oil filler cap and handlebar ends too. The bike has also been loaded with paddock stand bobbins, matt black levers, wheel rim tape, a tank pad, fuel cap trim, heel plate trim and a new graphics kit. A pillion seat cowl is also provided with the bikes but it comes at a price that has been included in the purchase price while pillion footrests have been removed. Apart from this, both of these also get a new paint scheme which makes them pretty amazing.
In terms of powertrains, both the machines remain unchanged and houses the same 999cc, liquid cooled, four stroke, inline-four cylinder, DOHC engine. The motor pumps out a whopping power of 144 bhp at 10000 rpm along with an earth shattering torque of 105.72Nm at 9500 rpm. Suzuki GSX-S1000 is available in two variants namely ABS and non-ABS. The Yoshimura edition of non-ABS GSX-S1000 will cost £9,799 (Rs. 9.65 lac) while the ABS variant is priced at £10,299 (Rs. 10.14 lac). The muscular GSX-S1000F is priced at £10,699 (Rs. 10.54 lac).
Recently concluded 2016 Auto Expo has also witnessed the faired GSX-S1000F and the naked one GSX-S1000. Both bikes were being the center of attraction at the Suzuki stall. Along with this, Suzuki also came with its all-new Access 125, Race-Spec Gixxer SF, 650cc massive scooter Burgman, motocross bikes RMZ 250, RMX-450Z and mini dirt bike DR-Z70.
