Spied: Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF with Rear Disc Brake, Might Arrive this Festive Season

The two sturdy and sporty 155cc entry-level performance motorcycles from Suzuki - Gixxer and Gixxer SF have been recently spotted with a rear disc brake doing rounds on the roads of Delhi NCR. With this, Suzuki has finally responded to those who were craving for a rear disc brake in the Gixxer twins since the time of their unveiling. The bikes are expected to reach the dealerships in the coming festive season, which seems to be a perfect and auspicious occasion for the Indian orthodox community to make any big purchase.
Suzuki Gixxer is one of the most worthy and performance oriented urban street motorcycles in the country till date that has scored well over its competitors. Besides this, its improved version - Gixxer SF is the most affordable fully-faired motorcycle presently on sale in the country. After it came in the limelight, the auto enthusiasts have been naming this bike as “Mini Hayabusa” due to its GSX-R inspired aesthetics. Both bikes have been powered by a 154.9cc, four-stroke engine that generates 14.6bhp of maximum power and 14Nm of peak torque.

The Gixxer twins have been doing well in the Indian markets due to their superior all-round performance and stunning body dynamics. To boost up the sales further, Suzuki had introduced impressive dual-tone shades in the naked Gixxer few weeks back. Besides this, the company has also launched Gixxer Special Edition Helmet at Rs. 2199 that will be exclusively available at the Suzuki dealerships.

The new versions of Gixxer and Gixxer SF might be hitting the Indian roads anytime soon but keeping in mind the approaching festive season, you can expect these models to reach the dealerships around Diwali or mid October. With the addition of rear disc brake, the bikes will cost around Rs. 5,000 to 6,000 more than the existing versions.
