The Suzuki Ride Connect comes with a host of features to make the two scooters more practical. It gets turn-by-turn navigation, call/ SMS/ WhatsApp alerts, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) updates, phone battery level indicator and overspeeding alert. Using the dedicated Suzuki Ride Connect app (available only on Android at the moment), one can also access features such as trip sharing and last parked location. The IOS version of the app will be released some time later. Suzuki's survey revealed that 90 percent of its customers were using Android, hence the brand prioritised its platform first. The new Suzuki Access 125 variant also gets an LED DRL for better aesthetics.

These features are a welcome addition for the two scooters and will help them compete better in the 125cc scooter segment. In terms of rivals, the new Suzuki Access 125 variant will go up against the Honda Activa 125, Hero Destini 125 and the Yamaha Fascino 125, whereas the Suzuki Burgman Street with smartphone connectivity will rival the TVS NTorq 125, Yamaha RayZR 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Vespa SXL 125.
