To begin with, Suzuki offers knee grip tank protectors and tank pads. The former help your thighs grip the tank better, thereby allowing your legs to control the bike better, while the latter protects the fuel-tank from scuff marks and paint chips which are usually caused by your belt buckle or zipper rubbing against it.
One of the biggest problems while touring is your phone running out of juice. Well, with Suzuki’s genuine DC charging socket you can charge your phone on the go. Oh, and this charging socket also features a rain protection cover. To make the bike more touring friendly, you could also opt for a pair of saddlebags which go well with the Gixxer 250’s sporty design.

For added protection, Suzuki offers a couple of guards as optional extras. For instance, the engine guard protects the heart of the motorcycle along with crucial bodywork in case of an accident. While a skid plate protects the underside of the engine from the uneven surfaces and debris. Also on offer are a pair of knuckle guards which would prevent your brake and clutch levers from bending or breaking in case of a fall.
Suzuki hasn’t revealed the prices of these accessories just yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as they are out. So stay tuned for all the latest updates.
