Suzuki Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP Limited Editions Launched

Suzuki has launched special edition Gixxer SP and GIxxer SF SP in India, along with the Gixxer SF-Fi fuel injected variant.
Adding another wow factor to its Gixxer range of motorcycles, Suzuki Motorcycles India has launched special editions of the bikes Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP. Featuring classic race-inspired graphics with a special emblem, the editions are available exclusively in the rear disc brake trims. Both the Gixxer SP and the Gixxer SF SP will be available in Matt Fibroin Grey/Glass Sparkle Black (AR4) colour only and are priced at Rs 80,726 and Rs. 88,857 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. For a more premium and classy appearance, the special edition Gixxers get a maroon coloured seat and clear lens LED tail lamps.
Commenting on the launch, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, said: "We are pleased to announce our latest Special Edition variants of the Gixxer and Gixxer SF, enabling us to expand our offerings in the Gixxer series. The Gixxer is one of our most successful and admired street sports bikes, known for its powerful performance, sporty style and it has been well accepted by the Indian youth. The SP editions of the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF stay committed to the exceptional performance and ability of the Gixxer and give an edgy look to the fashionable rider."
Along with these special editions, Suzuki has also launched the Gixxer SF-Fi fuel injected variant which was previously unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo in February. This new trim will now be available in select cities and dealerships in the MotoGP edition colour only.
Powering the Suzuki Gixxer and the Gixxer SF is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 155cc engine that comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor makes 14.8PS of maximum power and delivers a peak torque of 14Nm. Key features of the bikes include beefy 41mm front forks, 7-step adjustable rear monoshock, full LCD instrument console, stylish 3-split-spoke alloy wheels, meaty 140/60 section rear tyre, throaty dual-port exhaust muffler and a front disc brake as standard.
