Suzuki Gixxer with Rear Disc Brake showcased at Auto Expo

Suzuki Motorcycles has showcased the updated version of its highest selling 150cc motorcycle, the Gixxer. The latest variant gets the rear disk brake and rest of the details remains the same. This naked streetfighter shares it design cues with its elder sibling, the GSX-R1000. The first gen model of the motorcycle was launched in September 2014.
The 2016 Suzuki Gixxer uses the same power plant that powers the older variant. The bike gets its power by 154.9cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled mill having SOHC, a 2-valve engine that produces 14.59bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 14Nm at 6,000rpm. The bike is coupled to a 5-speed MT transmission and comes with electric start button as a standard. Since its beginning in the country, the bike has been given various awards thanks to its pioneering style and sophisticated appearance and considered as one of the most awarded motorcycles of the country.
Other than the updated version of Gixxer, the company has also showcased the all new Access 125 having loaded with lots of features including Suzuki Easy Start System with one-push starter, Push Tyre Shuttered Key, Service Indicator and many more.
Coming back to the Gixxer, the bike carries the racing DNA of the GSX-R series offering unmatched riding experience. The addition of the rear disc brake caters to the safety of the rider bringing a stable and enjoyable ride.
