The Suzuki GSX-R 125 is an entry-level motorcycle for the European and Southeast Asian market which will be launched in 2017
Suzuki showcased the new GSX-R 125 motorcycle at the INTERMOT motorcycle show today. The new bike is an entry-level performance bike from Suzuki and as the name suggests is a 125cc motorcycle. The new bike will be launched in Europe and Southeast Asian countries in 2017. The GSX-R 125 gets a full faired body with sporty styling that is eye catchy. It gets a LED headlight that looks unit while the alloy wheels, chunky exhaust muffler and the compact tail section are the other design highlights.
The Suzuki GSX-R 125 gets keyless entry and “answer-back function” which helps the rider in locating the bike in parking. It sports an all-digital LCD digital display which looks similar to the unit as seen on the Gixxer. Suzuki hasn’t divulged power output for the new FSX-R 125 but mentioned that it gets DOHC and liquid-cooling. The Japanese bikemaker also claims that the new motorcycle is the lightest bike in its segment. Talking about cycle parts it gets petal disc brake on both ends and ABS is standard. The bike employs telescopic front forks and a monoshock unit at rear. Since we already have the Suzuki Gixxer SF which is powered by a 155cc motor it is unlikely that the new GSX-R 125 will be launched in the Indian two-wheeler market.
