Suzuki Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S. Edition launched in India

Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited has launched new Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S edition in India silently. The Japanese auto major on its part doing well in the Indian two-wheeler market with its new value for money products. The company comes at sixth position in the market, however, it is leading in the super sport bike market of India. Intruder is a high performance cruiser machine from the company, which comes in two variants- Intruder M800 and M1800R.

Suzuki Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S. Edition gets some cosmetic updates over its standard version, and the mechanical specifications of the bike remain same. The new edition gets a new Marble Daytona Yellow and Glass Sparkle Black (KGK) dual tone paint job, which makes it more impressive and sportier when compared to the standard single tone paint scheme. The bike has got an all black theme, which gels with its new paint job and the wheels also follow the dual tone scheme. Other changes are a streamlined headlight cover, stylish LED taillight and new attractive side stand, which will offered as a standard fitment throughout the M1800R series.

The powerful 1783cc, Four stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 54° V-twin power mill has been carried forward for the motive of  perfect cruising performance. The bike churns out a maximum power output of 125bhp at 6200rpm and the value of peak torque delivered goes to 16.3kgm at just 3200rpm. The bike has a top 130kmph on the straight highways and is capable to deliver 15kmpl with the help of large overhead camshaft-driven four valve per cylinder engine. To stop this 347kg weighted cruising machine, its front wheel come fitted with a 310mm dual disk brake along with a 275mm disk brake system at the rear wheel. The new addition of this bike has been priced at Rs. 16.45 lakh, which is Rs. 50,000 costlier than the standard version.
