Suzuki Motorcycle India was planning to bring in a 250cc bike in the country and we think that Suzuki Inzuma might be that bike. The bike was showcased last year and it is going to be launched in the European markets in the next month. However, the company officials refused to comment on its Indian arrival but the market of rumours have been heated up. SMIL is struggling to make its place in the Indian market and they need some good bikes in their fleet to boost up their sales. Recently launched Suzuki Hayate is doing good in the market and they still need some good bikes. The current trend of racing bikes in India is good and other bikes in the segment Kawasaki Ninja 250R, KTM Duke and Honda CBR 250R are doing well. Suzuki Inzuma is a 250-cc bike, which is inspired from famous Suzuki B-King. Suzuki Inzuma is much smaller than the B-King and it is more like a racing replica of it. The bike is expected to churn out a power output of 27bhp with a regular torque even on lower revs.
The power output is less than its competitors but a good mileage around 30kmpl overlaps this. The above said mileage is claimed for the European version of the bike and Suzuki might enhance it for the Indian version. The bike is tagged with a approximate price of Rs. 3 lakh in UK as the bike is being made in China and exported as CBU to UK. But it is expected that Suzuki might localise the manufacturing to bring down the price. The spec sheet of the bike suggests that it will suit the Indian roads and it can be a good ride for the Indian youth. Rest all depends on Suzuki that when they will bring it to India.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on the same.
