Suzuki Motorcycle bags 26 per cent growth in March

Suzuki Motorcycle India, number five two-wheeler manufacturer in India, is getting buzz response form its newly launched bikes in India. The company sold out 27,361 units in the month of March this year against 21,725 unit sales in the same month of previous year. The company reported 25.94 per cent growth which is a record in the history of the company.

 

Suzuki Motorcycle has launched its well performer bike Suzuki Slingshot 125 last year. This five speed gear box enabled bike is packed with 125cc engine and doing fairly well in the market and comes in Indian most popular commuter bikes segment. Along with international body design, the bike is very efficient; it competes with Honda Shine, Hero Honda Super Splendor, Yamaha YBR 125cc and now newly launched Bajaj Discover 125.

 

Suzuki's another most popular two-wheelers are Suzuki GS 150R and 125cc scooter Suzuki Access. Both the bike and scooter are also pushing the sales of the company. Suzuki Access is the major competitor of Honda Activa, Mahindra Duro and Rodeo which are other popular scooters in India. While Suzuki GS 150R is known for its overall performance; the bike competes with Honda Unicorn, Hero Honda Hunk and Yamaha Fazer. 

 

Suzuki Motorcycle is also having superbikes in India like Suzuki Bandit, Suzuki GSXR, Suzuki Hayabusa and Suzuki Intruder which are the major competitor of Honda and Yamaha's superbikes. These Suzuki superbikes are in the good demand and pumping the sales growth of the company. Now Suzuki is ready to enter in 100cc segment as Honda and Yamaha which had already announced to launch 100cc bikes in India.
