Suzuki Motorcycles India has rolled out the 2016 version of its motocross machine RMX-450Z at the 2016 Auto Expo. The bike gets minor updates but remains unchanged in terms of powertrains. Along with this, the manufacturer also unveiled another motocross bike RMZ 250 and a mini dirt bike DR-Z70. This biennial event turned out to be quite disappointing for the fans of Suzuki as they got nothing to see as expected from this Japanese bike maker.

However, we hope that some of the upgrades and showcases did manage to steal their hearts. Coming back to RMX-450Z, powering the bike is 449cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, fuel injected, DOHC engine that is mated  to a 5-speed gearbox. It has been equipped with 6.2 liters fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 124 Kg. Also, it has a wheelbase of 1480 mm and has a seat height of  955mm. The company configured it with the fully adjustable 47 mm Showa inverted fork at the front and Showa shock absorber at the rear. In terms of braking, the bike is fitted with 250mm wave disc brake with Nissin twin-piston caliper at the front and 240mm wave disc brake with Nissin single-piston caliper at the rear.
