Suzuki sales increased by 44 percent in June 2010

India's one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycle India has recorded increased sales of two-wheelers by 44 percent during the last month. The company's two face lifted products, Suzuki GS150R and Suzuki Access 125, which are getting excellent response, contributed robust sales growth in June 2010. Atul Gupta, vice-president, Sales and Marketing, SMIPL, said “As promised, we have delivered quality products as well as customer satisfaction to our consumers. We will continue to keep up this growth momentum in coming months as well.” Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently launched two new massive superbikes GSX-R1000 and Bandit 1250S in India during the last month. The new superbikes are available with hefty price range in the country, GSX-R1000 is priced at Rs. 12.75 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi) and Bandit 1250S is available at Rs. 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi). Atul Gupta said that Suzuki has been delivering superior technology which has been proven worldwide and it now intends to showcase the same in India. With the launch of the two bikes, Suzuki is all set to support the craziest and sportiest young enthusiasts who are looking for these mean machines. We are targeting to sell together over 200 units in the first year. In the case of Hayabusa and Intruder also, we had sold about 200 units in the first year. On the other hand, Another major two-wheeler majors is also planning to expand their new products range in the Indian market including Yamaha SZ, TVS Neo, TVS Streak Hybrid, TVS Max and TVS Apache 220.
