Suzuki V-Storm 1000 bookings started in India

Suzuki has commenced the bookings for its prime adventure bike, V-Storm 1000, in India. The V-Storm is available at Rs. 14.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is quite high due to its incoming in India via CBU (completely-built-up) route.

Suzuki V-Storm 1000 is a high-utility two-wheeler that helps the rider to ride through every type of terrain. The heart of the machine is a 1037cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 90Ë? V-twin engine that is mated with the 6-speed manual transmission. The engine is tuned to churn out the maximum power output of around 100bhp. The atrocious power and wicked looks makes the bike extremely likable.

Suzuki V-Storm 1000 runs on 110/80R19M/C 59V front and 150/70R17M/C 69V rear tyre that comes loaded with a twin front disc brake and rear single disc brake. The suspensions of the bike are coil spring, oil damped whereas at the front Inverted telescopic are fixed and at the rear Link type. The fuel tank capacity of the machine is 20 liters.

In India, there are only three adventure bikes available, Triumph Tiger 800 XC, Triumph Tiger Explorer and Suzuki V-Storm. All three of these are new to the country and will be giving healthy competing to each other as they range from Rs. 12 lakh to 17 lakh.
