Suzuzki Gixxer priced at Rs. 79809 on-road, Delhi

We already reported that the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer 150 has already reached the dealerships for display and the company has started taking bookings of the bike. Now, the company has announced the price of the streetfighter, which is Rs. 79,809 (on-road, Delhi) and it is expected to be launched by the first week of September.

Suzuki has already revealed the specifications of the Gixxer, which was exhibited at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The streetfighter machine houses an all new, lightest 154.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which makes 14.64bhp of raw power at 8,000rpm and capable to develop torque upto 14Nm at 6,000rpm.

The engine is designed with latest SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, which ensures optimum performance with better fuel economy. Other key features of the bike are-

The new Suzuki Gixxer will compete with the updated models of the Yamaha FZ series and Honda CB Trigger. For this, the company has loaded the bike with features and priced it aggressively to stay ahead in the market.
