The Ather 450 Apex is a more extreme version of the Ather 450X and its motor produces a peak power output of 7kW. The top speed is 100kmph and it accelerates from 0-40kmph in 2.9 seconds. The 3.7kWh capacity battery delivers a claimed range of 157km and the scooter comes equipped with an additional Warp+ mode along with the SmartEco, Eco, Ride and Sport modes found in the 450 Apex. It also gets a negative throttle feature that Ather calls ‘Magic Twist’ for regenerative braking.
Other than the technicalities, the 450 Apex gets a beautiful colour scheme called Indium Blue with orange wheels. Also, the biggest cosmetic highlight is the gorgeous transparent panels that showcase the orange frame underneath.
The Ather 450 Apex is priced at Rs 1,88,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) and Ather Energy is not claiming for FAME 2 subsidy with this scooter. It rivals the Ola S1 Pro, TVS X and Simple One.
