The Kymco DTX 125 and DTX 350 have been unveiled in Spain
Kymco, a Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled the DTX 125 and DTX 350 in the Spanish market. Both the maxi-scooters will arrive at dealerships this month, so expect the prices to be announced soon. Also, the new DTX series will replace the Super Dink model in its domestic market.
Talking about the design, both the maxi-scooters carry a muscular and rugged stance. Their fascia looks aggressive, and they mount twin LED headlights with twin DRL and a tall windscreen up front.
Moving to the side, you'll notice the edgy body panels with minimal graphics, a single-piece step-up seat, and chunky exhaust. Talking about the bigger-engined scooter, the press release calls it the DTX 350, whereas, oddly, the maxi-scooter gets a 'DTX 360' sticker on its side for some reason.
Both the maxi-scooters get a wide tail section that mounts an LED taillight.
On the features front, the Kymco DTX 125 And DTX 350 are offered with keyless start, a digital-instrument cluster that misses out on smartphone connectivity and navigation, traction control system, large under-seat storage space that can hold two full-face helmets and 2 USB charging ports (one on the apron and another in the cubby hole at the left).

Powering the DTX 125 is a 125cc Euro 5 single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 13.05PS. Meanwhile, the DTX 350 draws power from a 321cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that delivers 28.55PS. In comparison, the Honda ADV350 makes 29.23PS and 31.5Nm from its 330cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Euro 5 engine.
The suspension hardware is identical on both scooters as they use a telescopic fork up front and dual-shock absorbers at the rear. The braking setup is also the same as they employ 260/220mm disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Kymco is unlikely to re-enter India. But if you are looking for a maxi-scooter here, you can consider the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Aprilia SXR125 or the Aprilia SXR160. If you’re looking for something performance-oriented, then the Yamaha Aerox 155 is the best bet.
