Wrench Kings shows us how to make the Himalayan even more capable
- The custom Royal Enfield Himalayan features a GPS and a specially designed Akrapovic exhaust system.
- It gets a restyled rear fender, a new seat, a jerry can and more.
- It is likely to be powered by the same engine as the standard Himalayan.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is one such adventure motorcycle that you can transform into almost anything. To prove that, Netherlands-based custom house Wrench Kings has revealed their newest creation.
At the front, the custom Himalayan gets a robotic-style headlamp and auxiliary lamps on either side. While the tyre size seems to be the same as the standard model (90/90- front and 120/90- rear), it gets custom knobbies from Dunlop. To make sure you don’t get lost during your off-road escapades, the company has equipped the custom Himalayan with TomTom GPS navigation! Other changes include a custom Akrapovic exhaust system, a jerry can, a new seat, a restyled rear fender and a custom handlebar. Additionally, it gets a small bag at the front, which we are not so sure what it’s for.
The company hasn’t revealed much about the mechanical updates, but we expect the custom motorcycle to feature the same underpinnings as the standard variant. Which means it sits on a split cradle frame and features a 41mm telescopic suspension up front and a monoshock at the rear. It is powered by a 411cc single-cylinder motor which pumps out 24.5PS and 32Nm of torque.
Royal Enfield recently showcased a bonkers turbocharged Himalayan at the 2019 Wheels and Wave festival. If you are a Royal Enfield Himalayan owner, how would you customise your bike? Let us know.
