#TokyoMotorShow: India-Made Suzuki Gixxer to Hit Japanese Market Soon

It was truly a proud moment for Suzuki Motors India Pvt Ltd. when made-in-India Suzuki Gixxer 155cc was showcased during the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show. This 155cc street fighter is manufactured at the company’s Manesar plant, near Gurgaon.
The bike has already taken 150cc segment in the country by storm and is expected to do same in the Japanese market as well. This premium commuter is equipped with 154.9cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces the maximum power of 14.8PS and the peak torque of 14Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Coming to the dimension, the bike measures 2050 mm in length, 785mm in width and 1030 mm of height. The 155cc Suzuki Gixxer has a wheelbase of 1330 mm and offers the ground clearance of 160mm. Its seat height and the fuel capacity stands at 780 mm and 12 litres respectively.
It also features telescopic front forks, rear mono shock and fully digital instrument console. The Suzuki Gixxer 155cc is offered in various colour options which include grey, red, blue, black and white. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with 100/80 section tyres up front and 140/60 section tyres at the rear. It boasts a 12V 35/35W halogen headlight and LED tail lamp.
The bike has performed really well in India and the company has expected it to perform a same way in the Japanese market as well.
