The commuter segment in India has always been a cash cow for Indian two-wheeler makers thanks to the stellar mileage figures that these bikes deliver and the affordable prices at which two-wheeler manufacturers offer them. Also, there are a lot of players in this segment. However, there are a few bikes that continue to dominate it. So today at BikeDekho we bring you the list of the  five bikes that have topped the sales chart in October 2021

The Hero Splendor has yet again made its way to the top position. However, it has witnessed a decline in its sales figures by around 15.19 percent and 3.41 percent as compared to October 2020 and September 2021.

Considering last month’s sales chart, the Hero HF Deluxe has moved a spot higher, bagging the second position and besting the Honda CB Shine. While the commuter motorcycle segment has seen growth in sales of around 18.13 percent over the last month, its overall one-year sales have declined by 29.5 percent.

As mentioned,  the Honda CB Shine takes third place. And even here it’s the same case, as the sales figures of the CB Shine have dropped by about 4.2 percent and 20.24 percent over the last year and when compared to September 2021, respectively.

As compared to last month, the fourth and fifth positions have interchanged. The Bajaj Pulsar range has taken the fourth position while the Bajaj Platina came in fifth. While the sales figures of the whole of the Pulsar range have gone up drastically by around 33 percent as compared to September 2021, the overall year-on-year sales figure has decreased by 51,718 units. On the other hand, the sales of the Bajaj Platina seems to be continuously growing, with the commuter motorcycle seeing a year-on-year growth of 27.51 percent, and also selling 1,550 units more than last month.
