TVS sold 20,000 more units of the Apache RTR range in May than in April 2022
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has sent out the May 2022 sales report. Here’s how the 150cc-200cc motorcycle segment fared last month:
The TVS Apache RTR range consisting of the Apache RTR 160 2V, Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 180 and the Apache RTR 200 4V has made it to top of the list and that too by a big margin. Not only has the Apache line-up seen a tremendous Year-over-Year (YoY) growth, but also managed 20,000 more units than April 2022.
Interestingly, Yamaha managed to sell 14,704 units of the MT-15 Version 2.0 and the YZF-R15 models (V4, R15M, R15S V3), which is more than the combined sales of the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, RS200 and the NS200 which are much more affordable than the Yamaha duo.
In other news, Suzuki has pulled the plug on the Intruder 155, while Bajaj is gearing up to introduce the new generation Pulsar 150.
