Triumph India supported Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride for Cancer Awareness

The Triumph motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. has supported a “Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride” a special event organised on 27th September 2015 to create awareness about prostate cancer. This global initiative held across the world every year also helps in raising funds for prevention and treatment of this fatal disease. This ride initiated by some friends from Australia in 2012 has slowly become popular and has grown significantly as more and more riders came onboard to spread public awareness about this most common form of cancer.

The biggest craze for this ride has been seen in Delhi with the largest number participation. Over 300 riders, all dressed dapperly in silk vests, crisp shirts and tailored suits riding on Café Racers, Bobbers, Classics, Scramblers and other quirky motorcycles took part in this event. The ride started from Lodhi Road, New Delhi at 9 AM and reached Crowne Plaza, Greater Noida and was organised by Royal Mavericks, a New Delhi-based riders group.
To admire the valuable efforts of the riders for this social cause, various titles were announced during the event including Most Distinguished Bike/Ride, Most Distinguished Gentleman, Most Distinguished Lady, Most Distinguished Mustache or Beard, the Senior Most Rider and the Most Distinguished Motorcycling Group. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride has managed to collect a huge sum of Rs 2,47,500 for this good cause.
