Triumph Motorcycle India Showcases New Modern Classic Bikes at IBW 2016

The iconic British motorcycle maker- Triumph has showcased its new range of Modern Classic bikes at the ongoing India Bike Week 2016. These bikes that have been announced for the country  include the new Street Twin, Bonneville T120 and Thruxton R. The motorcycles were already unveiled at the recent Auto Expo 2016 and two of them were even launched at the event.

The new most affordable bike in Triumph Motorcycle range- Street Twin is now available in India at Rs. 6.9 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike comes with advanced features like ABS, Traction Control, Slipper Assist clutch, Ride-By-Wire along with riding modes that are now standard on most of the Triumph motorcycles available in India. The new Street Twin is powered by the 900cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin motor that now delivers 18 percent more torque going up to 80Nm at just 3,200rpm. 

The more powerful version of the iconic Triumph Bonneville- T120 takes power from a new 1,200cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin engine that pumps out 105Nm of peak torque at low 3,100rpm. The motorcycle retains the design lines from its siblings, however, it comes loaded with all the new features that are now standard on Triumph motorcycles. The new Bonneville T120 is now available in India with a price tag of Rs. 8.7 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

Taking the racing heritage forward in the country, Triumph has announced its new Thruxton R that will be available in the market soon. The new motorcycle is powered by the bigger 1200cc engine that also powers the Bonneville T120, however, it has been tuned for a higher performance. The motor churns out a maximum torque of 112Nmat 4,950rpm that is around 62 percent more than the previous generation.
