Triumph Motorcycles reveals its Future Plans

With an objective of debuting in Indian two wheeler market, the legendary British two wheeler company Triumph Motors had showcased long fleet of Triumph Bikes during Auto Expo show held in Delhi few days back. During Auto show, Triumph had displayed 7 variants of Triumph Bikes which included highly anticipated bikes like Triumph Daytona 675 and Triumph Rocket III Roadster. Now it is reported that after making successful presentation in Auto Expo, Triumph is focusing on establishing it’s dealership network in the major cities of India.

The reports also reveal that these dealerships will be established in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore whereas the fourth dealership may be established in Chandigarh by the end of this year. According to reports company also plans to increase its dealership network during next three years. According to reports from Triumph Motors, the wide range of Triumph Bikes in Indian market will be brought via CKD route from Thailand, whereas the three variants will based on completely built units. The Triumph Bikes that will be brought via CKD route include Triumph Bonneville, Triumph Street Triple Triumph 675, Triumph Speed Triple and Triumph Daytona 675. While Triumph Tiger 800XC, Triumph Storm, and Triumph Rocket III Roadster will be based CBU units.

During Auto Expo 2012, Mr. Ashish Joshi, MD, Triumph Motorcycles India, said that this year is going to be a decisive year for Triumph company with company stepping out in the largest emerging bike market of the world. According to Mr. Joshi, it is the right time for company to make it debut in Indian bike market with Indian rider preferring to ride powerbikes. According to Mr. Joshi with wide variety of options the Indian riders will have opportunity of choosing superbike of their choice. Triumph Bikes is expected to be tough contender for Harley Davidson bikes which is also introducing huge fleet of superbikes in Indian bike market.
