Triumph Motorcycles Upgrades its Classic Range of Motorcycles

The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph have upgraded its Classic motorcycle range for 2014. The range includes the iconic Bonneville series, Scrambler and Thruxton. The new range will receive cosmetic updates to give a modern touch to the bikes, while maintaining the traditional vintage appeal. However Triumph won't introduce any changes to the engines as they don't want to temper with the performance of the bikes.
The most popular Bonneville series includes Bonneville, Bonneville T100 and Bonneville SE. The whole 2014 series gets a better seat design ergonomically (lower to 740mm) along with a classic black grab rail, which don't comes as a standard fitment with the current models. The updated series will be a new Triumph emblem on the fuel tank to make the bikes more attractive. Cooling fins on the engine have been machined to enhance the classic British twin engine appeal. Oil cooling lines in the engine have been minimised by solid treatment and the exhaust system of the engine has been redesigned. The new model gets a 17" front wheel and will be available in new coloures- Phantom Black, Lunar Silver, Crystal White and Sapphire Blue.
The all black Bonneville T100, now gets new white/gold and black/red paint job schemes along with louder exhaust tail pipe. Other changes are same as in the other Bonneville series bikes, while the T100 black gets an improved all black theme which now includes the wheels, handlebars, suspension system components, mudguard stays, rear view mirrors and grab rail etc. The 2014 Scrambler will also get a new improved black theme, which includes completely blacked out handlebars, wheel rims, hubs, rear master cylinder and oil cooler lines. Other improvements are a more finished anodized bash plate and more ergonomic seat design. The new edition will be available in two complete new colours- Matt Pacific Blue and Lunar Silver/Diablo Red combination.
The cafe racer Triumph Thruxton gets new fitments in the 2014 model, which are- colour matched fly-screen, new aluminium wheels, chrome plated chain cover, adjustable rear suspension system and a rear seat cowl is now comes as standard equipment. The seat of the bike has been redesigned for a sportier riding posture and the the new exhaust tale pipe is now roaring louder. The new colours of the bike will be Black and Green.
The 2014 Triumph motorcycle range will be available from 1st September 2013, in the UK dealerships. Prices of the bikes will be-£6,549 for the Bonneville, £7,349 for the T100, Thruxton and Scrambler, and £7,149 for the T100 Black.
