We already know a fair about its design, hardware and engine details
Just a few weeks after the launch of the TVS X electric scooter, we're once again getting ready for a launch from the Hosur-based manufacturer. This time, it's the highly anticipated Apache RTR 310.
TVS has been teasing and revealing glimpses of the upcoming TVS streetfighter for a while now. And as such, we have gained substantial insights into its appearance and performance attributes. From its first and second round of spy shots, we've learned that the RTR 310 will feature distinctive vertical strip-style taillights, a USD fork and monoshock suspension setup (likely to be adjustable), and dual-disc brakes with standard dual-channel ABS. It will also sport a floating license plate holder, rear indicators, and the same exhaust system found in the Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R, and BMW G 310 GS.
In the third round of spy shots, we've observed that the bike will boast a split-seat configuration, rear-set footpegs, and an aggressive riding posture. TVS has hinted through a teaser that the Apache RTR 310 won't merely be a rebranded BMW G 310 R; instead, it will showcase a completely fresh design from the Hosur-based manufacturer. The bike will further feature adjustable levers and sharp tank extensions, as confirmed by this latest teaser.
The Apache RTR 310 will be powered by a 312.7cc, reverse-inclined, single-cylinder engine, similar to the one found in the Apache RR 310 but with a different tuning setup. You can now pre-book the TVS Apache RTR 310 with a deposit of Rs 3,100, and it's expected to carry a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Its rivals will be the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, BMW G 310 R, Keeway K300N, and the Honda CB300R.
