TVS Apache RTR 180 to be launched with ABS next month

TVS Apache RTR 180, one of the flagship bike model by TVS is going to be equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), as per latest media reports. It is well known fact that TVS Motors is the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer of India and having a big series of popular bikes in the market. And TVS Apache is the most popular bike model of the company which compete with Bajaj Auto's most popular Pulsar series. It is expected that it will be launched in the month of February this year.
After launching of Honda CBR 250R with ABS technology, all the Indian bike maker are working to add ABS system in their bikes, the firms like Bajaj, TVS, Hero Honda and Kawasaki are doing same in their products, and Bajaj is also already to launch Bajaj Pulsar 250cc with this advanced security system. Kawasaki Ninja 250R is already selling in the market but it does not have this feature.
At present, TVS Apache RTR 180 is available with price tag of Rs. 66,000 but new bike with ABS will have Rs. 8000 added price. Whereas the company is planning to launch TVS Apache RTR 220 and TVS Apache RTR 250cc to face upcoming Kawasaki, Bajaj, Honda and Mahindra's 250cc to 300cc bikes. TVS Rockz it also on board to be introduced in India.
