TVS focusing on Syncing Brake System variant of Wego

After the launch of the TVS Wego with a new syncing brake system, the scooter became immensely popular and as per media reports, the company had to stop the production of its other two variants. TVS bought syncing braking system (SBS) in the market as their version of combi braking system (CBS). This new braking system automatically activates the front brakes whenever the rear brakes are used. Visually, no difference can be seen in other variants of the Wego except the new braking system as the specification. This new feature can be useful while commuting in city and in heavy traffics.

If some online portals are to be believed, some of the dealers in country still have the old models that offer disc and standard drum brakes, while others have stopped taking bookings of the previous models due to unavailability of stock. TVS Wego is competing with Honda Activa, Suzuki Let’s and Yamaha Ray-Z

However, company’s website still displays Wego with both drum and disc brakes along with syncing braking technology (SBS). TVS has not circulated any press release stating the discontinuation of the old model, but the news of production being stopped has gone viral on few online portals. Before making any statement whether will continue with the old model or not we will have to wait for the official confirmation from the company, till then let’s have a look at the specifications of this 110cc scooter:
