TVS Jive Auto-clutch bike rolled out in Andhra Pradesh

Country's third largest two-wheeler manufacturing company, TVS Motors on Tuesday rolled out its auto-clutch motorcycle in Andhra Pradash. TVS Jive motorcycle includes the features like self start and hands free gear shift features making it comfortable to drive on congested areas. J.S. Srinivasan, general manager, sales, TVS Motor Company, told reporters that they had earlier launched the motorcycle in Tamil Nadu and they received awesome response by the customers. The company also declared plans to launch the same auto-clutch motorcycles in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh as soon as possible. TVS Jive motorcycle is priced at Rs.41,000(ex-showroom). TVS Motors has launched two new models in both categories scooter and bike, ScootyTVS Wigo was specially launched for woman, in India.. In Andhra Pradesh, company has already been accounted for 23 percent motorcycle share in the market. TVS Motors hopes that the new bike would increase share market up to 27 percent. Out of 65,000 motorcycles sold in Andhra Pradesh, the company has accounted for 15,000 sales, Srinivasan said. TVS Jive has equipped with a unique feature of anti-knocking mechanism, which makes smooth riding without engine shutting off at low speed even in high gears. While shifting the gear, there is no need for mutual clutch-gear coordination. On the other hand, Honda Motors has recently introduced its 110cc Honda CB Twister in Bangalore.
