TVS Motor posted increased sale

TVS Motor India Limited has posted remarkable sales figure in the last month. The company said in a statement,"We have sold number of 146,736 units in March, compared with 118,000 units in the same month last year and also posted a growth sales of 24 percent in India. TVS Motor 2wheelers sales has registered 15 percent growth at 1,521,912 units in financial year 2009-10, compared with 1,325,754 units in the last fiscal year. Apart from it, The company's three-wheelers sales also zoomed of 2,431 units in March 2010, as against 650 units in the previous year, statement added. Last year exports sales was at 16,340 units, now company has increased exports sales by 23 percent to 20,067 units. After launching TVS Jive and TVS Wego vehicles in the market, it's getting a wonderful response from the market. TVS Wego scooter will be launched commerically in this month. On the other hand, domestic market sales raised by 25 percent to 126,669 units in last month from 101,660 units in the same month 2009. Meanwhile, India Yamaha Motor is going to introduce its premium segment YZF R125 bike soon in India.
