TVS Motors achieved 28 per cent growth in March

TVS Motors, India's leading two wheeler and three wheeler manufacturer company crossed two million units sales mark in the month of March this year and reported 28 growth. The company sold out 191,208 units of two wheeler and three wheeler as compared to 149,194 units in the same month of year 2010. Its most popular bikes like TVS Apache, TVS Star, TVS Sport, TVS Jive and popular scooter TVS Wego are pumping the sales mark of the company.

The company recorded cumulative sales growth 33 per cent with sales of 2,046,668 units in period of April 2010 to March 2011 as compared to 1,536,919 units in the same previous period.
 

TVS Motor reported total 27 per cent growth in the two wheeler with sales of 186,781 units in March this year as compared to 146,763 units in same month of last year. While the company got cumulative growth of 32 per cent  in  period April 2010 to March 2011 with total sales of 2,006,808 units as against total sale of 1,521,939 units same previous period.
 

Domestic growth of the company is grew by 28 percent with sales of of 162,719 units in March this year as compared to 126,696 units sales in same month of year 2010. While in month of March TVS Scooter sales is grew by impressive mark. TVS Motor reported 50 per cent growth with sales of 42,655 units as against to 28,504 units of sales in March of previous year. It's bike's sales is grew by 24 percent with sales of 79,642 units in March this year as compare to 64,147 units in the same month of year 2010.
 

TVS Motors is getting buzz response from overseas market and reported 31 per cent growth with sales of  26,979 units as compared to 20,585 units in the same period of previous year. In the month of March this year the company exported 24,062 units of two wheelers as compared to  20,067 units in same month of previous year.
 

The company stated cumulative sale of three wheeler from month of April 2010 to March this year increased by 166 per cent with total sales of 39,860 units as compared to registered 14,980 units in same previous period. In the month of March this year TVS Motors sold out 4,427 units of three wheelers as compared to 2,431 units in March of year 2010.
 

The company hopes that it's sales will increase with an-expected growth by upcoming months. It has recently included a new bike model in its stable with name of TVS Apache 180 ABS which is priced at Rs. 78,880 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and the bike available at its dealerships across the country.
