How are they different and which one is best for you?
The TVS Radeon is quite a likeable motorcycle with its simple but upmarket appearance, excellent fuel economy, and sonorous exhaust note. It’s recently been updated to BS6 standards, receiving fuel-injection in the process, and is now available in three variants. We’re going to break them down here:
Base Edition
This is the most affordable variant and logically, also the most sparsely equipped. It’s available in a choice of six solid colour schemes. It gets fuel-injection and is stopped by drum brakes at both ends. At Rs 58,992, it’s Rs 6,632 pricier than its BS4 predecessor.
CBOTY Drum
The year has changed to 2020, but TVS is still offering a ‘Commuter Bike Of The Year’ edition of the Radeon, courtesy of the award this bike won last year. It gets two exclusive colour schemes, a rubberised tank top pad, quilted brown seat cover, round chrome mirrors, and chrome levers. With drum brakes, it’ll cost you Rs 61,992.
CBOTY Disc
This is also a ‘Commuter Bike Of The Year’ edition of the Radeon and so it gets all the special bits listed on the variant immediately above. Besides, it sports a 240mm petal disc brake, which makes it our pick of the bunch. At Rs 64,992, though, it is a considerable Rs 8,632 more expensive than it was in BS4 form.
