After months of anticipation, TVS is all set to unravel the mystery around its new bike launch today. Leaked images have shown that the Hosur-based bikemaker is ready to roll out the Ronin.
The TVS Ronin is a neo-retro scrambler that is unlike any other product from the bikemaker we have seen so far. We already know what its headlight looks like, and going by the leaked images, it also features premium equipment like a USD fork and disc brakes at both ends.

TVS is likely to use a 220cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine developed from the Apache RTR 200 4V. This engine could be paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Interestingly, the TVS invite also mentioned a surprise, and this hints at the debut of the production-spec Zeppelin concept in the form of Retron cruiser.
The TVS Ronin could be priced around Rs 1.5 lakh, while the Retron could carry a tag of Rs 1.6 lakh (both ex-showroom). While the Ronin’s closest rival is the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, the Retron will lock horns with the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise.
