TVS Victor, the highly promoted bike from the third largest two wheeler company TVS Motors after staying in dark for a long time since its launch in August 2001 is going to make its re-entry soon in the Indian bike market. Almost being forgotten by the people, there are rumours that TVS Motors may re-launch its highly promoted bike TVS Victor back to Indian market. Launched almost with Bajaj Pulsar in 2001, TVS Victor was the most applauded bike in the Indian bike market.
Unfortunately as it happens with every shining star with passing time TVS Victor also started loosing its brightness while TVS was penetrating on promotion and production of its other bikes like TVS Apache, TVS Flame, TVS Centre. By the decade ending in 2010 TVS Victor was almost lost from the market and not even people but TVS had also forgotten about it. Whereas on the other side the other bikes launched by TVS mainly TVS Apache and TVS Flame captured the eyes of Indian riders while TVS Centre failed to create the charisma like them.
The rumours reveal that the new version of TVS Victor carries the same looks which were designed in erstwhile TVS Victor GX model embedded with indicators, rear tail lamp, grab rail, tail piece. It would be interesting to mention that TVS Victor GX (110 cc) and TVS Victor GLX (125cc) are still being sold and promoted at International market.
However, the reasons behind the downfall of TVS Victor in Indian market are still unknown because at one time it was considered as the most successful brand from TVS Motors. But still whenever its name is taken it is remembered with high spirits which indicates that till now people remember its powerful performance. And if TVS Motors speculates to re-launch TVS Victor back into the Indian market it will again be able to establish itself as the most suitable commuting option.
